ARE RANKINGS IMPORTANT?
You
know, I'm a bloke which means that I am incapable of multi-tasking, and also means I LIKE LISTS!
I love
looking at sports stats, I used to be able to recite record
charts at will and I just adore sitting in a pub discussing top tens of
all shapes and sizes. So what's that got to do with traffic exchanges?
Nothing really, just sharing!
Oh OK,
well there are several ways traffic exchanges are ranked, none are
perfect, but there are some which mean more than others.
I am so
proud and grateful (thank you) that surfers again voted us
number four this week at R&MBizBuilder
and I've just discovered we're in the Top Ten at Traffic Ranker
too. This site is a little underused these days but the thing I like is
that you can review the site and it's a treasure trove of info
too. Cool.
And in
case anybody missed the news on our Birthday this week, we've just the
received the Hit Exchange News Award of Excellence too. HEN is where I discovered this fascinating biz and began to
build relationships with the wonderful people involved. I
wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for HEN so Jon Olson has an
awful lot to answer for! Ask him about it here.
WHAT DO YOU HATE?
I
have to thank Kathryn
Hill for inspiring this. Kathryn surfed Traffic-Splash for
the first time today and sent in a really happy upbeat message saying
how she'd enjoyed it. This is the sort of message
that puts a HUGE beaming smile on my face and I love
(need) those tickets so please keep sending them!
However,
we don't get very many negative comments and that scares me a bit. If
unhappy customers aint talking to you, that means they're not using
you or worse still, they're talking about you.
I
want our exchanges to rival the best so please tell me
anything you have a mild dislike for, anything you'd like to
see changed, anything you find a little difficult, anything
that inconveniences you and mostly anything you HATE!
I
don't want you inconvenienced, I don't want you irritated, I don't want
you unhappy in any way. In short, I don't want to lose you. Please, tell me
what you HATE!
