Splashers. Sorry it's been a while since the last newsletter. The
server crashes and subsequent move have led to lots of feverish
activity behind the scenes and distracted me just a bit. Yet you all
still surfed like mad. We delivered over one million hits in May.
That's more than Traffic-Splash delivered in it's whole first year. Big
thumbs up for the dolphins and a big thank you to you from me.
Rest assured, the dolphins are now in their permanent home. This shiny
new server is quad-core Xeon type thingy and it is HUGE! I noticed the
other afternoon (ie quiet time) that we had 37 people surfing and even
so, we were still at only 6% capacity. I love this server!

PRESS: this week's rankings at Traffic Hoopla are out and
we're back in the top ten again (number 9) and we're currently number
3 in the HEN Top Ten too. I find it astonishing
that an exchange so young, which wasn't launched in a huge
blaze of JV glory, is ranked so highly so quickly and it's all down to
you guys. Thank you for all you are doing to help

TOP TIPS
These
are just little hints to help you get the best out of traffic
exchanges. Things we notice that often just don't go quite
right
....
Quite a
few members are advertising Traffic-Splash here. Please
don't do this - it wastes your credits. Everybody surfing
Traffic-Splash is already a member and so you need to advertise other
sites here. If you need any advice on how to use traffic exchanges more
effectively we are always
happy to help. Just holler!
Whenever
you set up a banner it will appear on the screen for you.
Sometimes you
will see a little red X instead of the banner itself. That means
everybody else will see a little red X too and so there's an error
somewhere. If you see a little red X, recheck the Image url that you
just keyed in, it's probably wrong. If you can't see any error please
feel free to contact us and we'll help however we can.
Quick reminder - please don't
use Adsense sites on
traffic exchanges. Google has finally stated publicy
what has been known for a long time now. You WILL lose your
Adsense account if they catch you advertising on traffic exchanges. We
will remove any adsense site we see but it is your
responsibility to protect your Adsense account. Please, don't risk it!
