And Another Record, Thank You, Giveaway …. September 30, 2007

My one year goal for Traffic-Splash was to reach 10,000
current members.
We just reached it three minutes ago. Three Months Early!!

Well kinda ..
Lots of people have contributed to these early days of
Traffic-Splash and there are two particular people that I owe
a huge debt of thanks for attracting me to TE’s initially ….
One man stands out head and shoulders above us all as the
most successful surfer of all time.
He is kinda retired now so those of us who started surfing in
the last year have missed out on some great trainings and
conferences. He made just one guest appearance that I
know of. In a conference that started about 3am UK time but
there was no way I was missing it!
I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know Tony Tezak fairly
well since then. His wisdom and experience have proven
invaluable. And his humor is as dry as Arizona too!
Must be because he spent so many years drinking British
beer I guess
Tony, you are a legend. Cheers!
Anyone who knows me at all will guess this second person
immediately. I don’t mention this man as often as I once did
but if you read back through our News Archive you will spot
references to my TE mentor in just about every issue. I
never even noticed until it was pointed to me!
This is the man who’s ideas, integrity and sheer enthusiasm
inspired me to get involved in these “silly little programs”
that have been serving surfers for almost a decade now.
This man is Jon Olson. THE Traffic Exchange Guy.
Jon, you inspire me to serve my customers better each
and every day. I truly thank you.
Oh, and thanks for showing me that this totally inept
technophobe can be a real success online too. Mate,
you are more of an inspiration than you’ll ever know
If you search google you’ll find loads of references to both
Tony and Jon. Read what they say. Take note. Take action.
Nobody can ever teach you better than these two guys.
Just do it!
Anyway, soapbox over, bonus time …
