How To NOT Waste Your Advertising Bucks in Traffic Exchanges November 6, 2007
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentWoke up at 5 am as usual, couldn’t get back to sleep so, as it is Tuesday I logged in to Traffic Hoopla to get my weekly statto fix a few hours early. What a surprise!
They’ve a cool new redesign and, shock upon shock, they’ve reduced the list from Top Forty to Top Twenty. This is a really cool move in my opinion. How so?
Well, because to get full benefit from traffic exchanges you need to be a well recognised brand. People buy from those they know, they like, they trust. So it makes sense to ensure they see your name and face fairly regularly. It makes sense that your ‘brand’ is out there 24/7.
If you advertise in forty traffic exchanges you will dilute your TEBA (Traffic Exchange Brand Awareness - term coined by Jon Olson) because your advertising is hitting each individual less frequently. It will take longer for each person to truly recognise your brand and therefore it makes sense to use fewer exchanges.
In fact, I still think using tweny at a time is too many for most users. Hoopla ranks exchanges based on statistics. It’s not a perfect system, nothing can be, but it is a very good indicator of quality.
Here is Hoopla’s current Top Five Traffic Exchanges.

Big Brother is here! Another TE First! March 30, 2007
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentWell this is a week for innovation in TE World!
Our Splash Design Competition has taken on a twist as I had a little idea on Tuesday night. I put it out to members as an experiment and the response has been overwhelming!
We have had some incredibly good splashes submitted but, I have to say, members have been voting in their droves to boot out their least favorites. This thing is catching on and will get bigger as this splash page gets seen more and more.
To briefly explain, Traffic-Splash members have submitted almost 40 splash pages, all hoping to win the 10,000 credit first prize. Those splashes are all listed here and your ‘job’ is to nominate three splashes each week for eviction. Each week you nominate you will earn Traffic-Splash credits. In 5 weeks time we will be left with the final selection of splashes and in that week we all vote for one to win that 10,000 credits!
If you would like to win the 10,000 credits, and a special secret bonus then today is your very last chance to submit your splash. Here are the full contest details.
Can I give you 10,000 credits? March 27, 2007
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentI want to see your splashes. I want you to come up with your designs to promote Traffic-Splash. I want something original and different. Preferably a splash that brands you as well as us. I want to see your photo’s out there. The most successful people in this business brand themselves so I want you to brand YOU.
So, what do you get for having fun playing with graphics on your PC?
My undying respect and admiration? I will love you forever? Well maybe, and I might just reward you with 10,000 credits too.
A couple of requirements: your Splash must fit in with our watery theme and you must show our Dolphin mascot. Helpful hint: I love Button 1 on the Promote Banners Page so if you want my vote……
Later on today I will compile a page for you all to view and vote (privately) for your favourite splash. You will earn credits for voting and the winning splash-maker will earn 10,000 credits, 2nd place will earn 5,000 credits and 3rd will earn 2,000 credits. In addition…..
Every single splash you enter will earn you a prize that I don’t think has ever been offered in a Traffic Exchange before. I’m not spilling the beans and it all links in with the referral contest so the sooner you send in your splash, the higher your chance of winning extra cash in The Big Splash! too.
The only way you will discover the prize is by entering. I’m not telling a single solitary person other than competition winners. It’s a mystery, but trust me, it is well well worth it!
If you want to win about $100 worth of traffic-splash credits click here and check out the latest newsletter.
Take My 500 bucks! March 26, 2007
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentBig news today! I’ve teamed up with Steve Ayling and Soren Jordansen to bring you one HUGE referral contest. This is your chance to win $500 and more!
We’ve teamed up at Traffic-Splash, Traffic At The Races and DragonSurf and I’m told that this is quite possibly the biggest traffic exchange competition ever!
The contest starts right now and runs for 30 days, ending on April 22nd. Refer new members to Traffic-Splash for the chance to win these top prizes:
1st place: $100 2nd Place: $75 3rd Place: $60 4th Place: $50 5th Place: $45 6th Place: $40 7th Place: $35 8th Place: $30 9th Place: $25 10th Place: $20
11th-12th Place: win a free upgrade worth almost $15 or win credits if already upgraded.
13th-15th Place: win a free upgrade worth almost $10 or win credits if already upgraded.
16th-20th Place: win a free upgrade worth almost $5 or win credits if already upgraded.
So, if first prize is $100 then how do you win $500? Simple really….
If you are top referrer for all three exchanges we are offering an extra cash bonus and you will win $500!
Steve, Soren and I will send tens of thousands of hits to a special contest splash page during the contest, bringing in random referrals to upgraded members. Random referrals count for the contest too so if you’re not upgraded yet, now might be a good time to think about it!
You can also use a copy of this page, embedded with your referral links to all three exchanges and here’s the next cool twist - it’s embedded with your HIT referral link too. Check it out and get your own copy here
I wish you all the very best with the contest and hope I’m handing over a prize to you in a month’s time. If you wish to improve your chances of winning a contest prize then carry on reading tomorrow. I’m giving away more and it all links in….
Fun, Fun, Fun! December 15, 2006
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentis still going on cos Daddy hasn’t taken the t-bird away! Ya know, I really admire people who launch a program on time and it’s almost perfect on Day One. Actually, I admire anyone who launches on time, and that admiration has grown even stronger over this last week.
So, you may have already guessed that we won’t be announcing the winner of our competition today as we have a few technical difficulties, won’t be long now though!
While you’re waiting with bated breathe, champing at the bit, foaming at the mouth, all that kinda thang, I better reveal the last clue in our little competition, and so, here it is…..
One of the exchanges has a two worded name, and the first word is Traffic. So, that narrows it down to 20-30 exchanges I suppose
The other exchange has three words in it’s name. This is the odd British name that I mentioned in an earlier clue. I did try to give you an anagram for this but there are soooo many weird letters in there that it was impossible. If you can guess the name, and come up with a really good anagram, there’s an extra prize on offer for you.
If you have used traffic exchanges for any length of time, and you re-read the clues in this blog then I’m sure you stand a very good chance of winning a whole year’s upgrade, completely free!
Just add your guess in comments to stand a chance of winning.
Best of luck!
Do You Use Downline Builders: Pro Upgrade Clue 4 December 12, 2006
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentI have to say that I love Downline Builders and if you’re not promoting these I really think you are missing out.
The basic idea is that you promote just one program, the Downline Builder, and the program itself helps you gain referrals in several other programs.
They do this by allowing you to enter your referral ID for several programs and when your referrals join these programs they immediately join your team. Such a cool concept!
So here are a few Downline builders that I use, along with a few more clues in our competition.
So, first, another clue. The larger of our two exchanges has about 4,500 members. The smaller exchange was launched this year and has about 1,500 members.
My favourite downline builder is TheMoneyWave because it was designed by Tony Tezak and Joe Sansoucie to enable surfers to earn some extra income for doing what they do best - surfing! If you are a Pro member (costs $10 a month) you only need to refer three others and you start earning. Both the exchanges that I now own are included in TheMoneyWave.
Home IncomeTeam (or HIT) is amazingly successful, having grown to over 17,000 members in just a few short months after this year’s relaunch. Their ‘Success System’ training is very impressive indeed. Our larger exchange is listed in HIT.
Ultimate Rep was launched early this year and has achieved massive success in Traffic Exchanges with ingenious software that enables the owner to identify the surfers first name and talk to them directly. The business was a little slow to take off (I was one of the first to join and let me tell you it was hard-going!) but as soon as they removed the requirement to join Empowerism business flew! I can’t recommend every program included in Ultimate Rep but this is a very dynamic business, with a very responsive owner. Ultimate Rep lists both of our exchanges.
Yorgoo is a Downline Builder with a difference. They provide members with daily video updates and also help to plan your workload with daily tasks. Yorgoo lists our larger exchange.
TrafficExchangeList is an interesting little monkey. You can rate the exchanges included and weekly reports give some ranking analysis. TrafficExchangeList includes our larger exchange.
Cyberwheelers doesn’t have the greatest splashes in the world though I hear that is about to change. The owner, Jose Garriga, speaks passionately and knowledgeably at his regular seminars. Jose has built very large downlines in Traffic Exchanges and Cyberwheelers is one to watch for 2007. Cyberwheelers includes our larger exchange.
DiveForIncome has just relaunched. Like Cyberwheelers, they haven’t really got into splashes yet. This is a real treasure trove if you want to join numerous traffic exchanges. DFI lists our smaller exchange.
So, if you want to do a Sherlock, you will now find the answer elementary
Best of luck!
A Years Pro Upgrade: Clue Three December 10, 2006
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentSo, ya wanna get 1:1 surfing plus free credits and random referrals every month? for a year?
Fair enough, well all you have to do is guess which exchanges I have taken ownership of.
The first two clues, can be found elsewhere on this blog. You can either page down until you see the word Clue in the title of any post, or you can click on the category Surprises over on the right there.
So, here’s Clue Three:
For those who haven’t seen HEN or Traffic Axiom lately, we are talking about two traffic exchanges and I’m going into partnership with the current owner. He’s more technical, which suits me fine as I really love anything involving customers. I’ve done that all my life.
So, you’re looking for two exchanges, and to help a little more I’ll tell you that they have about 6,000 members between them.
Got it? Well answer in comments and you’ll get in the draw to win the prize, or keep it to yourself and visit the blog late on Thursday if you’re really sneaky
Next clue Tuesday and the last one Thursday.
G’luck! ![]()
Win A Whole Year’s Advertising FREE! Clue Two November 30, 2006
Posted by paul in : Surprises , 5commentsOK, so who is gonna be One Real Lucky Clicker?
I am very pleased to announce that my new business partner and I have agreed to give One Real Lucky Clicker a 12 months Pro Upgrade at one of our Traffic Exchanges.
All you have to do is guess the identity of at least one of my new exchanges. Yep, simple as that. Out of the 3,000 or so exchanges online you gotta pick out which two I bought. That is really simple, right?
OK, so I think you might need a clue or three. Don’t you?
Over the next week or so I will be providing more clues so if you want a chance of winning it may be a good idea to set up a feed or subscribe to this blog. It’s all down there somewhere, on the right hand side. Or maybe just bookmark it. Your call.
You can find Clue One in the It’s A Mystery post from a few days ago. It really doesn’t help too much, so here is Clue Two:
hmmm, had to think about this. This is much easier than Clue One, but to get this it’s likely you will be a member of the larger of my new exchanges (if so, hello! :)) or you really really really know your stuff!
OK, this exchange has an unusual name that, I think, very few people know the meaning of. It is, according to the original owner a British phrase. As a Brit I never heard of it before and I’ve asked dozens of friends, family n stuff. Nobody else recognises it either.
There ya go, it’s got a weird Brit name that no Brits have heard of. Except for one.
So, get adding them comments to guess. As they say in UK Lotto land, it could be you…
