A Very Puddy Christmas! December 17, 2006
Posted by paul in : Secrets , 1 comment so farI just saw a fantastic offer from the owners of several top traffic exchanges.
It seems that Robert Puddy of AdvertisingKnowHow has got together with about a dozen other owners and they’ve all agreed to give their members extra credits for Christmas.
Basically, if you buy credits from any of these exchanges they will double your order with extra free credits. In other words, you buy 1,000 credits, they’ll give you 1,000 extra free.
But that ain’t all. They will also give you Santa Puddy’s secret webpage where you can claim extra free credits from all the other exchanges too.
All you have to do is buy credits from one of these exchanges and you’ll get access to Puddy’s Secret Grotto. Here’s the list: Advertising Know-How, SavvyClicks, MaxTrafficPro, TrafficPlanets, TrafficSoldiers, ILoveHits, ClickCrazey, RainForestClicks, WebCentreSurf, HitPirate, Surf4TheEarth, Clicks4Education
Oh, one exchange is doing things a little differently. They’ve just moved to a brand new dedicated server and promoting hard for lots of new members, so rather than giving away half-price credits you can get a half-price annual membership at Traffic-Splash.
Seems the traffic exchange owners are really getting into the Christmas spirit!
Fun, Fun, Fun! December 15, 2006
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentis still going on cos Daddy hasn’t taken the t-bird away! Ya know, I really admire people who launch a program on time and it’s almost perfect on Day One. Actually, I admire anyone who launches on time, and that admiration has grown even stronger over this last week.
So, you may have already guessed that we won’t be announcing the winner of our competition today as we have a few technical difficulties, won’t be long now though!
While you’re waiting with bated breathe, champing at the bit, foaming at the mouth, all that kinda thang, I better reveal the last clue in our little competition, and so, here it is…..
One of the exchanges has a two worded name, and the first word is Traffic. So, that narrows it down to 20-30 exchanges I suppose
The other exchange has three words in it’s name. This is the odd British name that I mentioned in an earlier clue. I did try to give you an anagram for this but there are soooo many weird letters in there that it was impossible. If you can guess the name, and come up with a really good anagram, there’s an extra prize on offer for you.
If you have used traffic exchanges for any length of time, and you re-read the clues in this blog then I’m sure you stand a very good chance of winning a whole year’s upgrade, completely free!
Just add your guess in comments to stand a chance of winning.
Best of luck!
Do You Use Downline Builders: Pro Upgrade Clue 4 December 12, 2006
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentI have to say that I love Downline Builders and if you’re not promoting these I really think you are missing out.
The basic idea is that you promote just one program, the Downline Builder, and the program itself helps you gain referrals in several other programs.
They do this by allowing you to enter your referral ID for several programs and when your referrals join these programs they immediately join your team. Such a cool concept!
So here are a few Downline builders that I use, along with a few more clues in our competition.
So, first, another clue. The larger of our two exchanges has about 4,500 members. The smaller exchange was launched this year and has about 1,500 members.
My favourite downline builder is TheMoneyWave because it was designed by Tony Tezak and Joe Sansoucie to enable surfers to earn some extra income for doing what they do best - surfing! If you are a Pro member (costs $10 a month) you only need to refer three others and you start earning. Both the exchanges that I now own are included in TheMoneyWave.
Home IncomeTeam (or HIT) is amazingly successful, having grown to over 17,000 members in just a few short months after this year’s relaunch. Their ‘Success System’ training is very impressive indeed. Our larger exchange is listed in HIT.
Ultimate Rep was launched early this year and has achieved massive success in Traffic Exchanges with ingenious software that enables the owner to identify the surfers first name and talk to them directly. The business was a little slow to take off (I was one of the first to join and let me tell you it was hard-going!) but as soon as they removed the requirement to join Empowerism business flew! I can’t recommend every program included in Ultimate Rep but this is a very dynamic business, with a very responsive owner. Ultimate Rep lists both of our exchanges.
Yorgoo is a Downline Builder with a difference. They provide members with daily video updates and also help to plan your workload with daily tasks. Yorgoo lists our larger exchange.
TrafficExchangeList is an interesting little monkey. You can rate the exchanges included and weekly reports give some ranking analysis. TrafficExchangeList includes our larger exchange.
Cyberwheelers doesn’t have the greatest splashes in the world though I hear that is about to change. The owner, Jose Garriga, speaks passionately and knowledgeably at his regular seminars. Jose has built very large downlines in Traffic Exchanges and Cyberwheelers is one to watch for 2007. Cyberwheelers includes our larger exchange.
DiveForIncome has just relaunched. Like Cyberwheelers, they haven’t really got into splashes yet. This is a real treasure trove if you want to join numerous traffic exchanges. DFI lists our smaller exchange.
So, if you want to do a Sherlock, you will now find the answer elementary
Best of luck!
Be SE friendly. It is nearly Christmas! December 12, 2006
Posted by paul in : Secrets , add a commentHave you wondered how to get your sites Search Engine Friendly without spending an absolute fortune?
Well, I chose a WordPress blog, and apparently most top marketers do too.
My friend Mike Paetzold helped me set it up and he has just released his new report “7 Tips To Make Your Word Press Blog Search Engine Friendly”.
I think he has gone a bit crazy. He started selling this report for just $1 but the price goes up a nickel every hour so the sooner you get there the cheaper it will be.
The report will show you how he has been able to get his blog posts indexed in hours instead of the 4 to 8 days it was taking before he made the changes.
Now that is worth FAR more than $1 of anybody’s money, so without meaning to be too pushy I really do advise you to get in quick!
Mike has a way of walking people step by step through this so that even if you are no “techie” you’ll easily be able to do the same. After all, if Mike could help me set up a blog, then he can help anyone!
Check it out before he comes to his sense and starts charging what it is worth.
“7 Tips To Make Your Word Press Blog Search Engine Friendly”.
You’ll be glad you did.
A Years Pro Upgrade: Clue Three December 10, 2006
Posted by paul in : Surprises , add a commentSo, ya wanna get 1:1 surfing plus free credits and random referrals every month? for a year?
Fair enough, well all you have to do is guess which exchanges I have taken ownership of.
The first two clues, can be found elsewhere on this blog. You can either page down until you see the word Clue in the title of any post, or you can click on the category Surprises over on the right there.
So, here’s Clue Three:
For those who haven’t seen HEN or Traffic Axiom lately, we are talking about two traffic exchanges and I’m going into partnership with the current owner. He’s more technical, which suits me fine as I really love anything involving customers. I’ve done that all my life.
So, you’re looking for two exchanges, and to help a little more I’ll tell you that they have about 6,000 members between them.
Got it? Well answer in comments and you’ll get in the draw to win the prize, or keep it to yourself and visit the blog late on Thursday if you’re really sneaky
Next clue Tuesday and the last one Thursday.
G’luck! ![]()
Censorship December 10, 2006
Posted by paul in : Stories , add a commentSo yet again, I see someone claiming that advertising in exchanges with longer timers is better because viewers are forced to see your ad.
Ya know what? This has really bugged me since I first started using traffic exchanges. I just think that argument is a pile of something I don’t wanna step in! And so I’m wading in, hmmm…..
Firstly, tabbed browsers allow us to see as much, or as little, of each site as we wish to. I personally ‘give good page views’ and I hope that most surfers afford me the same respect. But I know within 1-2 seconds whether I want to take a closer look at what each page has to offer. So what is the point of a long timer?
Secondly, I don’t expect exchange owners to censor my viewing by cutting out the boring affiliate sites that repeatedly appear, so I don’t expect to be forced to sit and look at those sites either.
In short, I really don’t expect to have my viewing censored.
So, imagine my surprise when I found out that one exchange is deliberately forcing it’s members to stare at the screen for 20 seconds. They’re actually stopping the timer if you use a tabbed browser to go anywhere else.
OK, well they just lost my custom but perhaps you have a different view. If you’d like to see a few other opinions and discover which exchange this is, just visit my favourite forum
Results Are Everything December 9, 2006
Posted by paul in : Secrets , add a commentOr are they?
Hey, there are plenty of exchanges I surf more than I probably should just cos I enjoy it or I get on well with the owner but really, at the end of the day I do need to earn the occasional crust.
I picked up a useful tidbit a couple of weeks ago from Paul Senior when he shared some results. He subscribed to AdvertisingKnowHow’s list builder while we were chatting online and within 15 minutes or so he already had six new subscribers to his list.
I just asked Paul if he’d share an update with me. He now has 59 double optins and 16 yet to verify. He’s used 2,000 credits, lasting about 12 days at a cost of $32.
Now, considering the lifetime value of a subscriber, that really is what I call results!
A fair proportion of you reading this blog will also have seen the AKH subscriber page. It is working wonders for me too!
Something Paul has yet to discover is that if you take up the Partner Upgrade at AKH you will also receive a random referral to the traffic exchange almost every day too. At least, that’s my experience in this first week anyway. No guarantees!
The partner upgrade is $24.75 a month, so a little expensive for some, but so far, I’ve got to say this is incredible value. Random referrals are also given to Pro Members ($7.95) and you can try AKH for free.
AKH doesn’t deliver traffic quite as fast as the likes of ILoveHits or RoyalSurf but as long as you monitor results and plan your surf sessions accordingly AKH can work perfectly for you.
After all, it is known as The Perfect Traffic Exchange and I hear rumours that the owner has been known to walk on water too! ![]()
Get Smoking Hot Traffic: launching today! December 8, 2006
Posted by paul in : Secrets , 1 comment so farDo you want Smokin Hot, Targeted Traffic to your Websites?
My friend Soren Jordansen has just launched his new business. I have seen him develop this program and was slightly involved in testing. I know this is a winner!
In case, you don’t know Soren has been marketing online for six years plus. You may have seen his JV giveaway in the Summer or you may recognise him as the owner of Viking Safelist, and a key figure in HIT and several other programs.
Soren has lined up an impressive JV list and this program will be very high profile.
Now, you can either upgrade straight away at half price, earning 50% on all your referrals and any random referrals that Soren generates for you, or you can join for free.
Whichever way you go Dragon Surf will help you:
- Advertise your website/blog
- Build your opt-in list of subscribers
- Gain referrals for your programs
I am certain this will quickly become one of the best quality traffic exchanges on the net and I think it‘s a must have advertising resource.

EDIT: LOL, I’ve now seen emails that copy much of this word for word. Well, they say imitation is flattery and I’m really glad people are liking it!
Kevin’s Cadillac? December 2, 2006
Posted by paul in : Stories , 1 comment so farOK, admit it. How many of you need to know if Kevin lends out his Cadillac?
I know that loads of people hate sound when surfing, I’m usually one of them, but that’s only because I’m fed up of hearing whiny salesmen with their weasly pathetic pitches, or having my ears blown off by really loud blaring music.
I also get a little bored with hearing my name called out now, but I appreciate the ingenuity behind that software.
You see, a site with sound is quite likely to produce a 500% increase in response rates over a silent site. I just heard this week that the average visitor lingers a whole three seconds on a ‘normal’ ebay auction, whereas a talking auction gets visits averaging 1 minute 25 seconds. Interesting eh?
So, when you’re writing your next splash page, stop for a minute and think about investing $20 in software that lets you speak to your target market. You might just be surprised by the results.
Oh and please don’t think it’s cool to blast my ear drums. Treat me with respect and why not leave a little mystery? I know I’m still dying to find out if I can get my hands on Kevin’s cadillac ![]()
